ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS CONTROL
Description:
-To assist the concerned engineers in all the telecontrol, scada system technical activities as well as to initiate independent actions as far as possible.
-The above primary purpose is realized by assisting in the following functions associated with National Control Center – Energy Management System, Distribution control System of DCC and Digital Control System in Phase IV Substations.
-Preventive maintenance.
-Fault Attendance.
-Testing of spares received.
Details of the system to be maintained:
-Assists Telecontrol engineers in maintenance of NCC Energy Management System such as Computers, NCC RTUs, UPS System, Data Communication networks and Battery Chargers.
-Assists the Telecontrol engineers in maintenance of DCC Distribution Control system such as Computers, DCC RTUs, DCC UPS System and Visual Display Units.
-Repairs of Faulty Electronic Modules.
-Routine and Preventive Maintenance in NCC and DCC System.
-Software: Making up backup and restoration of Archival subsystem.
Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience:
-Diploma in Electronics/Computer Engineering.
-Minimum 8 years experience in the relevant field.
Training:
Hardware Training: NCC EMP System Hardware, DCC DCS system hardware, Data Communication Network, Remote Terminal nits and Telemetry Distribution Boards, UPS System, Battery Chargers.
Software Training:
RTU configuration and Management, NCC system backup and restore.
