MINING & REFINERY DIVISION
Education Qualification
High School Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
Years of Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in refinery or similar manufacturing operation. Alumina refinery is preferable.
English Level
Very good to excellent spoken. Very good technical writing proficiency
Technical Qualification
Skilled and experienced in piping, equipment and process systems construction, contracting strategy support, oversight and coordinating construction contractors in field work. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excell, Word and Power Point) and working knowledge of planning tools as Primavera P6, MS Project or similar systems
Others:
Previous project construction experience in piping, equipment erection, and process systems assembly and/or contractor construction supervision experience is well regarded.
Technical or Job Related Requirements:
-Overseeing and evaluating contractors construction work in the field, supporting project engineers according Construction plan in order to achieve cost and schedule targets
-Participate in the bid evaluation and contracting process led by Project Engineers
-Lead pro-active initiatives to maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations which will result in a culture of safety on the construction site for the contractor management personnel and for the construction labour;
-Manages, monitors, assesses and controls contractors performances and efficiency in implementing their work contracts;
-Ability to evaluate and develop work specifications and contract requirements
-Follow up closely the work performed in order to prevent or minimize potential claims by contractors
-Ensure Ma’aden Values and Standards are met by contractors during execution of work
-Single Point of Accountability for dealing with construction issues raised by contractors in site.
-Single point of accountability for construction Cost, Quality and Schedule performance
