OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
BASIC FUNCTION
Weld and cut metal parts using electric & oxygen / acetylene gas equipment.
WORK PERFORMED
-Use measuring instrument such as ruler, dividers, tapes and the like.
-Use both AC and DC electric welding machines.
-Prepare metal plates, pipes, angles and channels joints for welding.
-Carryout electric welding of joints in metal pipes, fittings structural steel etc.
-Fabricate brackets and frames.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
-Completion of Intermediate Education.
-ASME certificate for GTAW and SMAW for C.S., S.S. & Alloys of ferrous & non-ferrous metal.
-Six (6) years welding experience in oil field or petrochemical plant.
-Ability to write and speak in English.
-The welder (s) must be qualified as per the need of KNPC, through the requisite performance qualification test required by the Inspection Engineer. The test requirement of various welding process shall be as per KNPC Inspection Policy and Procedure Manual, Vol-2.
-Shall be well aware of basic refinery safety aspects and use of Personal Protective Equipments.
