OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
Key Areas of Responsibility:
-Assist in developing enhanced Scaffolding and Rigging Standards at the work place
-Check, inspect, rectify and certify the scaffold before use.
-Check, inspect, rectify and certify rigging work/equipment
-Conduct regular safety talks covering pertinent topics
-Monitor all daily activities to ensure safe work practices are in place
-Act to stop any unsafe practices and immediately report any unsafe conditions
-Advise on action to prevent recurrence of unsafe acts and conditions
-Check on the status of all rigging equipment and scaffolding materials at the worksite and ensure proper documentation is in order
-Ensure compliance to clients safety standards and procedures
-Scaffolding Inspection and Tagging Procedure; Work over water, work at height, work in confined spaces where rescue required, manual handling, slung scaffolds, cantilever scaffolds and loading bay, bridges and bridging sections, temporary roofs, work over or near steel, work on sloping or fragile surfaces, Bird case, access tower, Lifting towers
Requirements:
-TIB or TUV SUD Certified Inspector.
-Diploma with minimum of 5 years as a Scaffolding Supervisor / Inspector in reputed organization preferably in Gulf.
-Should have extensive experience to build Cantilever, hanging, load bearing, suspended, and confine space scaffolding to international standard.
-Experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry.
-Offshore experience is an advantage.
-Should be able to assess material requirement and control scaffolding crews.
-Gulf (GCC) experience is mandatory
-Must be young and energetic preferably below 45 years of age.
-Good command over English language.
