Job Description:
-Materials procurement and inspection services for Ammonia & Urea plants
-Participate in preparation of material requisition including technical and inspection requirement for different category of materials required in Fertilizer plants.
-Familiarity with different grades of materials used in Fertilizer industry and Knowledge about American, British, European standards.
-Inspection and identification of various materials used in petrochemical industry including alloy verification aids/apparatus and correlate results with international standard etc.
-Familiarity with NDT and other test procedures for materials.
-Participate and purchasing and evaluation procedures of bids from vendors and assist in selection of suitable vendor for supply of required materials.
-Assist in selection of spares for different equipment used in petrochemical industry.
-Familiar with safety, Health and environment issues as related to a petrochemical plant and follow all company rules and guidelines in this respect.
-Identify and approve suitable vendors for materials and spares.
-Works according to the established procedure and specialized technical standards.
Qualifications
-B.E (Mechanical & Electronic / Electrical / Instrument engineering) with minimum 6-10 years of related experience in Petrochemical Industry in similar capacity.
-Proficiency in spoken and written English.
-Well familiar in use of various computer tools and software for preparing reports and presentation materials.
-Knowledge in written and spoken Arabic will be added advantage
