Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position
Bachelor's Degree Planning, Statistics, Business, or other related field desirable.
What minimum experience is required for this position
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Facility Management.
Main Purpose of the Job
Overseeing daily operations in the Scheduling Department as well as perform all duties associated with the Schedule

Main Duties / Responsibilities
-Plans, organizes, and supervises a work unit in the development and production of transit operating schedules, work runs, and related materials
-Trains schedule-making staff in all facets of maintaining and building schedules, using manual and computerized techniques
-Meets with representatives of other departments, operating divisions, and agencies to discuss work projects, improvement of service, procedures, production of transit schedules, and resolve problems
-Review and approve time sheets and time off requests by schedulers.
-Supervises daily activity of the Scheduling staff to ensure all incoming calls are answered keeping within the desired service level.
-Responsible for monitoring calls coming into the office through the answering service each morning and distributing messages appropriately to include new consults, cancelled appointment and messages left with the answering service for the next work day.
-Types the daily schedule and sends out nightly to master schedule recipients.
-Assist with orientation of new personnel.
-Train and communicate new policies and procedures to Schedulers.
-Promotes smooth interactions with other department and fosters good Interdepartmental relations.
-Assist with scheduling as needed.
