OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Environment, Occupational Safety & Health or Engineering from a recognized institute or equivalent.
-A current relevant health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma / IOSH / CSP Certificate or equivalent)
-Full conversant with International HSE standards, codes and industry practices.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
-Experience as HSE Management System relevant position minimum 10 years.
-Experience in OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 14001:2004.
-Experience working with both UK and US HSE systems
-Experience of managing HSE on large-scale Power Generation or Environmental Plant, Oil / Gas and Petrochemical Plants.
-Having the competency certification (e.g. Lead Auditor OHSAS 18001) - Preferred
-IOSH membership or similar association - Preferred
-Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)- Preferred
Role & Responsibility
-Ensure implementation of the Corporate HSE Management System.
-Advise on setting up the improvement guidelines for Corporate HSE Management System to employees. Ensure improvements are implemented and results are feedback to employees.
-Assist and coordinate with the QHSE Team Leader and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an overall Project HSE Management system such as Project HSE Plan and procedures including HSE Policy Plan based on Corporate QHSE Management standards and Project requirements.
-Ensure that the Corporate & Project HSE system meets international standards.
-Responsible for ensuring that Corporate HSE Management policy, plans and procedures are implemented effectively and are suitable for the their purposes and use for which they are intended.
-Establish Corporate & Project HSE audit program & schedule and perform the Corporate & Project HSE Audit.
-Report the Corporate & Project HSE Audit Results to the QHSE Team Leader.
-Monitor Project HSE activities on Corporate Management system and Project requirements.
-Coordinate and communicate with Project personnel especially Project HSE Manager on Project HSE issues to provide technical advice on HSE.
-Produce and develop the HSE Training system for corporate and project. Ensure implementation of the plan. Ensure that training records are maintained.
-Report the performance status of Corporate & Project HSE and relevant issues to the QHSE Team Leader.
-Ensure that HSE is applied in line with the Project HSE Design Criteria to the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Pre Commissioning/Commissioning phases of the Project.
-Review and coordinate PSSR in line with Commissioning HSE Engineer.
