Expertise:
-Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum one (1) year experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System. Six (6) years’ experience out of which 2 years’ in the maintenance of similar facilities, to those specified in the Technical specification, with the last two (2) years in a similar position.
-Thorough understanding of programme scheduling techniques.
-Shall be experienced in the use of computers and MS Word and other MS Application system.
-Shall assist to Company’s Contracts Engineer for all aspects relevant to the prequalification, preparation, issue, receipt, opening and assessment of tenders & award, execution & management and close out of contracts. Extensive knowledge in Tender activities like preparation of Tender documents, evaluate the bids, clarifications and recommendation the qualified bidder to award. Maintain effective and accurate records of contract costs in accordance with respective Contract documents.
-Have the capability to supervise the maintenance of the complete facility and the work of subordinate staff including breakdown/shutdown maintenance activities, capable for decision making and work planning judged in that order.
-Very strong background in maintenance & troubleshooting of various electrical equipment used in oil & petrochemical industry.
Job Description:
-Administers requisition for maintenance supplies, special tools, plant and manages all the e-BEAMS activities for his discipline.
-Directs the work of personnel in his charge. Maintains equipment history and performance trending records.
-Prepares and submits daily activity report to the Company’s Representative.
-Compiles equipment failure report and submits to the Company’s
-Representative. Familiar with Commercial and Contracts activities associated with maintenance Contract administration.
-Ensures the implementation of the routine/preventive/breakdown/shutdown and major overhaul programme by the Contractor’s personnel to meet the maintenance goals both at site and in the workshop facilities.
-Organizes in liaison with the Supervisor and the Company’s representative earliest completion of any major breakdowns in the field.
-Advises on improvements that can be made to plant and equipment to increase machine availability and maintainability. Ensures the availability of personnel, tools and test equipment at all times as specified. Ensures that the statutory Electrical Regulations are adhered. Operates and maintains the LT/HT network as directed by company’s representative. Operates and maintains electrical equipment including LV & MV motors, UPS Batteries, LV & MV Switchgears, LV & MV Generators, Protective Relays and Variable Speed Drives.
-Liaises with other Company maintenance functions and Company’s contractors concerning equipment and items of common interest within their broad scope of work, and as
directed by the Superintendent’s Representative.
-Possess analytical capabilities strongest in diagnostic, eliminative and historical in that order. Able to conduct root cause analysis to determine reasons of failure.
