KNPC MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL & FF SYSTEM AT MAB REFINERY
Administrative
-Directs the work of personnel in his charge.
-Design, Maintains, Modify the changes for Fire Alarm Systems and keep records as and when required.
Operational
-Co-ordinates work functions of the contractor’s personnel in his area of responsibility including all disciplines.
-Ensures the implementation of the changes to be carried out as per approved design.
-Organizes in liaison with the Company’s Supervisor earliest completion of any modification jobs.
-Ensures personnel’s adherence to safe working.
-Continually reviews updated maintenance requirements / procedures.
-Implements surveillance system and monitors to ensure progress by proper manpower distribution in his area.
-Compiles and presents report, drawings and any related documents.
-Ensures the availability of personnel, tools and test equipment’s at all times as specified.
-To call-out duty after normal working hours.
-Ensure the best quality of maintenance and modification works to the satisfaction of the company’s representative.
Liaison
-Liaises with the Company's representative.
-Liaises with all Area Engineers within the Contract to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
-Degree in Instrument / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
-Eight (8) years (Post apprenticeship) experience in the installation, repair modification and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic, metering, microprocessor, PLC & DCS based Fire & Gas Systems, instruments and controls, with the last four (4) years supervisory experience in Refinery, petrochemical and oil field instrumentation maintenance.
-Knowledge in disassembling and reassembling equipment according to specifications.
-Shall be experienced in the use of Computers and work experience on Fire & Gas System, DCS System / PLC / SCADA etc. (Experience like GE Fanuc PLC system, Rosemount, Honeywell, Foxboro, ABB DCS system, Ronan / Wormald Fire and Gas Systems etc.)
-Extensive proven experience in analytical instruments and fire detection systems.
-Extensive knowledge of workshop practices and facilities.
-Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English language.
