Requirements:
-B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 to 10 years experience in selection, design, testing, fabrication, installation and operation of static equipment associated with the Oil & Gas industry, demonstrated knowledge of ability to apply industry specifications and standards.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issued in a clear and concise manner to achieve resolution of issued expeditiously.
-Ability to network with industry and trade associations within the static equipment discipline.
-Adaptability to multinational environment, with a wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
-Owner/Client Experience preferred.
-Gulf experience & Experience in Korean Companies preferred.
Job Description:
-Will be responsible to ensure the Project’s requirements, as detailed in the Technical specifications are complied with fully and that equipment will be delivered and fully operational with the projects performance requirements and schedule.
-Will steward the interfaces among the Project team and the EPC contractors organization with respect to static equipment engineering and design to ensure quality and minimize changes during project execution.
-Guide equipment design audit including screening, requirements and methods. Must be able to demonstrate experience in translating audit results into risk based equipment selection and defining risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure from marginal designs.
-Review P&ID drawings and control systems for safe and operable equipment features as required. Participate in HAZOP and other overall safety reviews. Provide input for the static equipment discipline to Risk management activities as appropriate.
