WELL INTEGRITY DEPARTMENT
Primary Purpose of the Job
Directs, coordinates and manages all wellhead activities including investigation and recommendation for the upstream operations related to WID (Well Integrity Dukhan) in the Dukhan field.
Principal Accountabilities
-Reviews all related wellhead installation histories prior to well integrity investigation.
-Conduct initial investigation of the condition of wellhead, well casing annulus bleed valves and lines to withstand expected pressure during well integrity investigation.
-Develop the procedures for wellhead and Xtree integrity investigations.
-Place recommendations for the improvement in selection of the right equipment for the right conditions.
-Making work permit for the job and do the risk analysis associated to each job step. Evaluating the contractor’s performance and Creating RO, SES and signing the contractor’s invoices with in the time frame
-Pressure testing all the wellhead cavities of each well and make decision as per the findings.
-To judge the communication between Annuli through the wellhead.
-Test the Xtree valves and place recommendation for change and repair.
-Work on new technology to seal off wellhead leaks and conduct trial jobs for the evaluation of the technology.
-Assists Asst. manager Well Integrity Operations in preparing the Divisions objectives and KPIs related with well inspection/ corrosion objectives and KPIs.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
-Minimum of B. Sc in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
-Minimum 7 years experience in the upstream ‘downstream oil and gas industry with 5 years of proven Wellhead Installation experience.
-Proven work experience involving pressure testing equipment’s as per API standards of wellhead testing.
-Must have good understanding of flow lines and annulus bleed systems.
-Must be able to work in a multi – cultural environment.
-Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally interact with a broad range of disciplines and levels within the company, including peers, field staff and senior management. Well – developed interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Strong leadership skills with proven capability to take firm, decision action.
