Qualification & Experience:
-High School Graduate or equivalent is required. Experience in Turning, Milling etc.
-Minimum of 5 years experience of machine shop or equipment repair work
-Knowledge of mathematics and possesses mechanical skills.
-Work safely and corrects recognized unsafe conditions immediately.
-Capable to read equipment components drawings and make hand sketches.
-Is familiar and understands mechanical industrial machinery.
-Can work in both machine shop and mechanical equipment repair shop.
-Willing to work extended hours as required by plant needs.
Details of Experience:
-Performs skilled machining for refurbishing and fabrication of mechanical components & assists in the actual repair of mechanical equipment in conjunction with the mechanics.
-Operation of machine shop equipment, i.e.,lathes, milling machines, grinders, drilling press, and saws, cutters, etc.
-Executes all jobs assigned by the team leader.
-Prepares and uses special tools for special repair requirements.
-Machining and fabrication of machinery replacement parts.
-Maintenance and repairs to the machine shop equipment.
-Complies with all the HSE policies and procedures.
