ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS CONTROL
Description:
-The “Supervisor Control Room” will be in charge of operations of the DCC system. Supervise the switching programs and following up all system abnormalities. In addition he will be responsible for the performance of the Distribution Network and to keep the Network safe, reliable & secured at all circumstances and preparing the operation policy of the Distribution Network.
-Provide technical support to the all the control shift engineers in operation functions around the clock.
-The position will require continuous and close liaison and coordination with all different sections in distribution department, as well as Transmission department.
-Assist operational planning in the development of remedial strategies in system emergencies and system restoration plan
-Assist operational and maintenance in developing and implementing operational safety procedures ensuring the safety on company personnel and the population at large
-He shall be responsible for directing and supervising of construction, reinforcement, operation and maintenance weekly outage program.
-Look after environmental assessment issues.
-Study the system optimal switching.
-Standby all the time for any abnormal / emergency in the network.
-Assisted in Implementation of all the available applications in the new SCADA.
-Keeps management informed about important events & abnormalities, coordinates with various other sections of the Department for works.
-Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
-Attending and follow up the changes with outages after duty.
Qualifications:
-B.Sc. / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
-Minimum 10 Years experience in Power System / System Control & Have Authorization Certificate.
