Job Description:
ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)

-Graduate with 15 years of experience in the procurement, logistics and related activities in the Oil & Gas sector, of which atleast 5 years in the GCC
-Spearhead end-to-end logistics operations including inventory control, warehouse management, transportation, and distribution, ensuring seamless and efficient workflows.
-Drive continuous optimization by developing and executing cost-effective logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce overhead.
-Recommend and implement best-in-class transportation modes, routing, and scheduling to optimize delivery timelines and resource utilization.
-Design, enforce, and oversee standardized policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks across all logistics activities.
-Ensure robust tracking through the development and maintenance of performance metrics, operational reports, and compliance documentation.
-Integrate customer-specific logistics requirements, including advanced reporting tools and transportation analytics, to ensure service excellence.
-Oversee international trade processes, ensuring full adherence to import/export regulations and minimizing compliance risks.
-Monitor and enforce carrier and vendor compliance with corporate policies for timely and secure delivery of goods.
-Lead distribution center operations, consistently achieving performance targets across cost, productivity, accuracy, and speed.
-Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, finance, and IT to align logistics processes with overall business strategy.
-Analyze and mitigate the financial implications of logistics decisions, including freight strategies, carrier mix, and shipment volumes.
-Strategically manage logistics within the procurement cycle, securing quality materials at optimal cost while maintaining delivery timelines.
-Plan and execute logistics for remote or infrastructure-limited operations, ensuring uninterrupted supply chain performance.
-Oversee the full production and material flow lifecycle—from raw material sourcing to final product delivery.
-Champion the end-to-end supply chain strategy and operational execution, supporting business continuity and growth objectives.
-Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational effectiveness.
-Implement robust production planning systems to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries and customer satisfaction.
-Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with transportation and logistics partners for improved service reliability.
-Optimize warehouse and store inventories, ensuring material availability across the right locations at the right time.
-Manage inbound supply flow, coordinating with diverse vendors to ensure consistent material availability.
-Conduct demand forecasting and trigger timely procurement decisions based on thorough analysis of operational requirements.
-Maintain high forecast accuracy and effectively communicate demand plans to internal teams and external suppliers.
-Own and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), initiating timely corrective actions to exceed business targets.
-Deliver regular KPI and operations reports to executive leadership for informed decision-making.
-Build and manage a fully integrated material planning framework encompassing make-or-buy decisions, capacity planning, scheduling, and cost optimization.
-Develop and nurture high-performance relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
-Establish and monitor supplier scorecards to evaluate performance, drive accountability, and enhance sourcing decisions.
-Ensure strict compliance with corporate procurement policies, legal requirements, and contractual obligations.
-Lead budget planning and cost control efforts by preparing accurate forecasts, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective strategies to meet financial goals.
