Job Description
-Provides plant with latest technology required to support Electrical equipment and maintenance.
-Provides in depth analysis and evaluation of Electrica1 Equipment problems.
-Has ability to supervise a group of people from different technical backgrounds.
-Troubleshoots and helps determine electrical equipment problems and root causes.
-Develops improvement ideas and issues reports and makes recommendations for improvement.
-Leads study and investigation teams when analyzing and recommending improvements.
-Specifies and coordinates the replacement and upgrade of existing units
-Recommends Spares and revise spares for description and optimal Maximum / Minimum Stock Levels for electrical equipments
-Sets repair procedures
-Perform duties related to the maintenance of electrical equipments
-Carries out studies and investigations of plant Equipment, from a electrical and technical aspect for the purpose of trouble shooting, maintenance and design problems etc. Also in relation to their reliability, efficiency, safety etc. Analyses and evaluates all relevant information and makes recommendations to solve, improve and eliminate them in co-ordination with his superiors in the Sections / Units concerned.
-Troubleshoots and helps in determining equipment problems and root causes. Takes part in root cause analysis and develops solutions to solve equipment problems. Reviews equipment repair reports for completeness and accuracy.
-Gives advice and direction to electrical maintenance Personnel as necessary. Similarly provides advice, technical information, etc. when commissioning/test running plant and equipment
-Coordinates with Kuwait Government authorities responsible for power supply including programs for the 'switching' of the High Voltage main feeders.
-Assists in implementing the Management of Change process, incorporating and relevant new ideas and technological advances while changing /adding facilities.
-Works according to established procedure and technical standards
Qualifications
-B.E (Electrical Engineering) with minimum 10 years of related experience in Fertilizer Plant
/ Refinery in similar capacity.
-Proficiency in spoken and written English
-Well familiar in use of various computer tools and software for preparing reports and presentation materials.
-Ability to train technicians in repair procedures etc.
-Adequate knowledge of all preventive and predictive maintenance procedures for all equipment in fertilizer plants
