OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
Minimum Qualification:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with Lead Auditor Certificate.
-Minimum 5 years of experience on major marine, dredging, civil and electromechanical projects, buildings, roads, tunnels, pumping stations, storage or power plants.
-Capable to read or review and interpret marine technical specifications and construction drawings.
-Knowledgeable on verification inspection of work elements related to civil works, to assure compliance with established procedures.
-Able to prepare files, maintain and retrieve test / inspection records and any other quality records generated by his activities.
-Candidates with previous experience on Dubai Municipality (DM) projects are preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Reports directly to their assigned Civil QC Engineer.
-Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to civil works.
-Performs verification inspection of work elements related to civil works, to assure compliance with established procedures and Project’s specified requirements.
-Participates in on site receiving Inspection of civil materials.
-Prepares files, maintains and retrieves test/inspection records and any other quality records generated by his activities.
-Witnesses and reviews of work being undertaken by a 3rd Party Testing /Inspection Company related to civil works, as required.
-Attends all Client inspection and tests in their area of assigned responsibility.
-Raises punch lists for incomplete civil works or defective civil materials.
-Prepares Punch List for completed civil works and follows up actions taken until all raised items are satisfactory completed.
-Assisting construction personnel to identify problems and potential or actual non- conformances related to civil works.
-Brings matters concerning non-conforming work to the attention of their respective Civil QC Engineer, and/or QC Manager.
-Ensures that any measurement & testing instrument to be used related to civil works are functional and calibrated.
-Performs any other related duties as assigned.
