ASIAPOWER OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 6.30 PM (MONDAY TO SATURDAY)
Key Purpose
A core role and foundation to providing a 24/7 Hospital & Medical Facility, Residential and Aviation focused Fire & Rescue Service, including but not limited to: the provision of services to designated NEOM sites, in response to incidents, including fire, rescues, building and facility emergencies, storms, flooding, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials release, de-contamination/clean up tasks and rotary wing fire and rescue.
Key Accountabilities
-Accountable to the Lieutenant (Crew Manager) for the effective delivery of emergency response and daily duties
-Performs fire and rescue tasks defined in PIP’s/IMG’s, under the command of the Captain (Watch Manager) or their deputy
-Provides dedicated emergency response services for all allocated sites and associated locations
-Responds to actual or potential emergencies to prevent harm and rescue personnel using specialist equipment as required.
-Responds to actual or potential structural/vehicle fires, including all vehicles in operation, office/accommodation buildings, welfare facilities, warehousing, fuel/petroleum and hazardous products storage areas, and any other area to combat fires and potential fire hazards using specialist equipment as required.
-Conducts all duties in line with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Is required to wear all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as protective clothing, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and chemical protection as required.
-Applies appropriate firefighting techniques and media application to manage additional potential incidents such as fuel spills, to mitigate the danger of fire or explosion.
-Conducts rescue operations and the safe removal of trapped or injured persons from vehicles and buildings, using specialist equipment such as power/hydraulic tools, breathing apparatus, PPV and ladders, which may also include working at height and/or confined space working.
-Assists personnel exposed to harmful substances
-Undertake control room duties, monitoring radios and emergency phones, maintaining detailed records.
-Undertakes First Aid duties, assists in casualty care and the safe re-location of casualties for further assessment /treatment acting under the guidance of the medical services, when required.
-Operates firefighting and foam making equipment including, hoses, branches/nozzles and monitors to suppress fire.
-Regularly checks all mechanical, hydraulic, and powered tools for correct operation and serviceability.
-Maintains the serviceability of personal protective equipment, clothing (e.g. fire kit, boots, helmets, gloves) and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) in a condition of operational readiness.
-Performs daily station duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
-Performs fire related client/customer engagement activities, including the delivery of educational fire safety awareness programmes, training, specialist event cover and standby services in support of other site departments as required.
-Operates all company vehicles and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
-Maintains their own personal physical fitness levels to support requirements of the role.
-Performs other role associated duties as required and assigned by their line management.
Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications
Skills
-Certified ‘Medically Fit’ for the role (Essential).
-Languages – English Oral/Written Level 4 (Essential), Arabic Oral/Written (Desirable).
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Desirable)
-Valid light vehicle operator license in country of origin and ability to obtain equivalent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Desirable).
-Valid heavy vehicle operator license in country of origin and ability to obtain equivalent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Desirable).

Experience
Experience – Minimum Three to Five (3-5) years’ experience in fire/rescue services including two (2) years as an Structural Firefighter.
-additional fire/rescue work experience may be substituted for up to two (2) years formal education in the ratio of two (2) years’ experience to one (1) years education (Essential).
Previous work experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Desirable)
Previous Middle East work experience (Essential)
Qualifications
Education - Ten (10) years formal education. (High School Graduate)
Specialized Qualifications – Applicants shall be certified competent in role and qualified to a minimum standard of those qualifications or their international equivalents stated Essential below:
-NFPA 1001 Firefighter I/II (Essential)
-NFPA 472/1072 HAZMAT Awareness Level (Essential)
-NFPA 472/1072 HAZMAT Operations Level (Essential)
-SCBA Wearer/Respiratory Protection (Essential)
-First Aid/Basic Life Support Certification (Essential)
-NFPA 1003 Airport Firefighter (Desirable)
-NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue (Desirable)
