ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS CONTROL
Core Functions:
-Study and analyze the electricity transmission network, energy and generation.
-Monitor Load and energy allocation plans on daily basis.
-Establish database for system actual load and energy consumption.
-Develop short term load forecasting techniques and energy allocation plans.
-Achieve integrity of security and economics of power system in relation to energy allocation and scheduling.
-Establish information system, and create reports.
-Participate in system operational studies and operational plans.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform a periodic energy allocation performance studies and issue results.
-Perform analysis and highlight weaknesses to concerned parties for taking corrective actions.
-Develop and modify energy allocation model related to studies and analysis of allocation process.
-Prepare, maintain and revise all energy allocation reports, design its format and create a historical database for system data for analysis and retrieval.
-Establish, update, and maintain information system in line with overall KAHRA MAA information and technology standards. This shall include historical reporting recording and other system operation statistical data required for quality assurance and management.
-Develop the necessary application programs and Models required for system operation and reporting purpose.
-Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
Qualification Requirements:
Education & Training
B.E. in Electrical Engineering
Job Experience
-At least 6 years experience in Power utilities
-Good analysis and modeling, software and data base application skills.
-Strong knowledge of power systems operation, economics and power systems application software.
