OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
BASIC FUNCTION
Administer requisitions for maintenance supplies, special tools, plant and Monitor workshops and worksites to ensure safe working, direct the work of personnel in his charge and Co-ordinate work functions of personnel in his department, implement major overhaul program to meet maintenance goals both at site and in the workshop and be able to analyze and monitor the performance efficiency of the work cost wise and take corrective steps when necessary.
WORK PERFORMED
-Maintain overhaul records of workshop equipment. Basic understanding of program scheduling techniques.
-Assist in preparing overhaul / workshop forecasts for parts, special tools, manpower requirements planning major overhauls.
-Repair of workshop equipment, Lathe Machine, Milling Machine, Welding Machine etc.
-Knowledge of fabrication techniques and adequate experience in supervising all types of welding.
-Basic knowledge of the process system involved and an awareness of operational requirements.
-Skill to supervise assembly and disassembly of equipment according to specification.
-Adequate knowledge in the field of metallurgy.
-Knowledge and ability to operate PC ( WinWord, Excel, etc ).
-Possess analytical capability to diagnose faults and trends by logical elimination.
-Be able to direct the work of subordinate staff and to plan work functions of the facility.
-Be able to make quick and sound decisions and to decide on necessity to repair or replace parts.
-Be capable of group communication to direct and control work he is responsible for.
-Have the ability to prepare various monitoring forms, minutes, reports, letters etc.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
-B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a University.
-Six (6) years experience in maintenance and planning of workshop activities with the last four (4) years in a supervisory position.
-Read, write and speak English fluently.
-Shall be well aware of basic refinery safety aspects and use of Personal Protective Equipment
