OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
-Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Technician Certificate with minimum 5 to 7 years experience in Substation / Construction Projects.
-Responsible for customer premise installations, including racking, cabling, bonding and grounding.
-Coordinate copper splicing and maintenance activities with other departments and the Manager of Outside Plant construction.
-Must be able to splice copper cable using methods such as 3M Scotchlok, Pick-a-Bond and 3M Ms2.
-Perform cable throws and changes without creating out of service conditions.
-Perform tests with Volt-Ohm meters and other test gear such as Copper Pro, Dynatel, etc.
-Terminate, splice, bonds/grounds and copper cables to customer specifications.
-Provide accurate documentation of changes to work prints, records, etc.
-Assist the Construction and Engineering departments with correcting problems in the copper network.
-Perform installation of Ready Access splice closures, hermetically sealed closures, buried splice kits, pedestals, NIDs, building terminals, etc...
-Must be able to work aloft, in confined entry spaces or on the ground.
