ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION DEPARTMENT
Pre-Requisites:
-Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree (full time course) from a recognized University with minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of Power Transmission equipment at voltage level of 11kV to 220kV.
-Knowledge of installation, operation and maintenance, condition monitoring of 220kV, 132kV, 66kV and 33kV substations, underground cables and overhead lines.
-Knowledge of International Standards/Specifications.
-Knowledge of General Conditions of Contract, Safety Rules and Regulations.
-Decision making, Managerial communication and interpersonal skills.
Description:
-Overall administration and management of the Assessment and Engineering Services Section.
-Condition monitoring and assessing the healthiness of Transmission Primary Substations.
-Life and Risk assessment of Equipment.
-Conceptualize, engineer and execute major projects including refurbishment works required for the maintenance of network comprising of 33kV to 220kV underground Cables, 66kV to 220kV Transmission overhead lines, and Transmission Primary Substations up to 400kV.
-Review and comments on document transmittals referred by Technical Affairs and other relevant departments.
