Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
Graduated from Senior High School or Education and training academic level or an equal.
Desirable:
Professional courses in welding with theoretical and practical training in the welding processes GTAW (141), SMAW (111), Submerged arc welding and orbital TIG welding and FCAW / GMAW (135 and 136).
Experience
Mandatory:
Minimum 3 years experienced level in the execution of welding with the GTAW (141), SMAW (111) and GMAW/ FCAW (135/136) processes in manufacturing sector or site (metallic structures and piping work).
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping and pressure parts welding. Having experience in boilers is a plus.
Desirable:
-Comprehends in read routing sheet, drawing, working procedure, WPS, welder log, welding symbol, material specification.
-Comprehends in preparing, using and treatment weld machine that in used.
-Comprehends in welding exercise according qualification owned.
Purpose of the Job/Job Mission
Operate with manual, semi-automatic or automatic welding machines for the execution of welding joints and repair welding according to the standards, procedures (include safety procedures) and technical specifications.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
-Reading drawings and other relevant technical data in order to identify dimensions and tolerances of welds.
-Reading welding maps and welding procedures specifications (WPS).
-Regulation of the welding equipment according the requirements of the WPS.
-Applying the root protection in the root pass with an inert gas using the appropriate tools and the specifications of the WPS.
-Perform welding of assemblies with the GTAW (141), SMAW (111), GMAW / FCAW (135/136) and SAW (121) welding processes fulfilling the acceptance criteria defined in standards and technical specifications.
-Perform welding of various materials based on standards, procedures & technical specifications.
-Keep quality of earning according to standard quality of company and / or collision clauses.
-Evaluation of the joint welding in accordance with the standards and specifications applicable using the appropriate measuring equipment.
-Able to report of job results / progress.
-Start and terminates office hours according to company regulation.
-Use of appropriate protective equipment for welding and compliance with safety rules set by the company.
-Ascertains safe working condition, healthy and environment in the work and reports condition of danger at supervisor.
-Obeys all related regulations of EHS in area job activity.
