OPERATION ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for assisting in administration of and operating the SAP System and carrying out planning activities using various software applications, review equipment data and update, monitor and audit SAP usage, carry out SAP KPI and other specific SAP reporting, and support shutdown-planning activities as required. Interaction with the end users for all the PC related issues, and coordination with IT department under the supervision of ‘System Engineer’ and attending to network problems.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Higher National Certificate (HNC) or 3 years diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
-Minimum 6 years experience in the maintenance, repairing and testing equipment and machinery, preferably in the petrochemical/refinery, chemical plants. Minimum 2 years experience in use and operation of a recognized computerized maintenance management system. SAP experience preferred.
OTHERS
-Working knowledge of established computerized planning and scheduling tools, such as, SAP, Artemis, Primavera, Maximo, Microsoft Project, IMMPOWER SP, and Materials Management software like EMA. Knowledge of plant shutdown planning requirements and procedures. Ability to read and understand technical drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, SLDs) and vendor documentation
