Requirements

Minimum Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years exposure in Fire related works.

Job Purpose
Develop and implement the Fire Protection System Compliance Program and ensure this adheres to the requirements set forth by SHEM 11 Emergency Response Planning, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), SABIC, Higher Commission for Industrial Security.
Key Accountabilities
-Evaluate the suitability of SHEM, NFPA, SABIC, Responsible Care and HCIS Standard affecting fire protection system/equipment.
-Carryout compliance audit on all the Fire Protection System/Equipment, and Develop strategies and evaluate technical requirements in relation to fire protection system.
-Reviews/evaluates and confirms that all the Company insurance requirements concerning to the Emergency Response system/equipment are fully complied.
-Review/evaluates/specify and provide recommendation on the design and technical specification for fire protection system for new and modified installation, based on the SHEM, NFPA, HCIS Standard to ensure adequacy of designed.
-Analyzing SHEM 11.00 qualification and industry practice on relevant competencies e.g. Emergency Response Plan (ERP), Emergency Response Team, Breathing Apparatus (BA), firefighting etc. and ensure the responders are capable to handle emergency.
-Participates and advises on the risk assessment study relative to fire protection system. Prepares contingency plan and ensure awareness to all concern responder and area owner.
-Evaluate emergency response and firefighting training requirements of all Emergency Response Team and all Employees and develop training plan materials, and conduct training sessions.
-Develop emergency drill scenarios based on the approved potential scenarios and participate with the Emergency Response Team in conducting this drill. Evaluate the scenario, based on the actual implementation, and revised accordingly.
