ELECTRICITY SYSTEMS CONTROL
Description:
-Responsible in looking after the event logging, system logs and records, and dressing of the mimic board all the time.
-Archives/retrieves of safety documents (Permit To Work, Sanction For Test, Limitation of Access, etc.)
-Assists the Shift Control Engineer in executing switching programs.
-Maintains system voltage and frequency at prescribed levels all the time.
-Assists the Control Engineer for economic load dispatch of active and reactive power to various Power Stations.
-Participates in the preparation of the daily reports.
-Assists the shift control engineer during emergencies.
-Logs system events, alarms, switching operations and other reports from the fields.
-Attends special tasks assigned by the Head of System Control Section, Senior System Control Engineer and Control Engineers.
-Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
-Diploma in Electrical Engineering or B.Sc. / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
-Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Power System Transmission and Distribution Networks out of which three years in System Control or substation attendant.
