Education
-Bachelor’s Degree in Any Discipline with minimum 1 year experience
-Associate Degree in Any Discipline with minimum 2 year experience.
-Technical Diploma / Certificate Course with minimum 3 years experience.
-High School with minimum 5 years experience.
-Valid ANST Level II certificate or equivalent in relevant method (UT).
-Knowledge of API Spec 5L acceptance criteria.
-Jaegar No. 1 Eyesight requirement within last 12 months; or Ishihara Eye Chart within
last 12 months and good communication skills in English.
-Fluent in English Speaking & Writing.
-Candidate must have minimum 5 years work experience in the Pipe manufacturing Industry.
Job Description
The UT Technician (Manual) reports to the QC Supervisor and has the responsibility and authority
for:
-Calibration of Manual UT equipments and changing of probe shoes.
-Checking of coil end, skelp joints of pipes, pipe ends, Weld Seam indications & Pipe
Body indications given by Auto UT.
-Documentation of all related Manual UT forms after completion of all the above tests.
-Preparation of defect report forms and entering all the related data in route cards.
-Proper disposition of pipes.
