Competency Requirements
Qualification:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum Seven (7) years of electrical maintenance experience in oil & gas facilities.
Other Skills:
-Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
-Report writing skills.
Responsible For:
Project Description: Alghanim International, Kuwait is looking for competent and well experienced Maintenance Supervisor Electrical for one of its projects awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). This project is currently under execution and it will be commissioned in March 2020. It is an upstream oil, gas and water separation project with main focus on water separation, water treatment and pumping through RTRP network. Alghanim International is executing the project on 4 out of the 10 Gathering Centers located in Burgan Oilfield of South Kuwait. Treated effluent water will be pumped to an existing facility of KOC for disposal/injection of effluent water produced from Gathering Centers.
Responsibilities:
-Shall manage and coordinate with the shift electrical team to complete the planned maintenance related activities.
-Co-ordinate with Maintenance electrical engineer and shift electrical technicians for smooth O&M of facility.
-Shall work in day shift as well as "on call" basis whenever required for continuous operation with respect to the electrical maintenance.
-Coordinate with the shift maintenance team for day to day activities and plan to fix the electrical related defects on priority basis.
-Shall be aware and handle the power block out condition and sub-station energizing sequence.
-Provides technical guidance and support in the troubleshooting and failure analysis of a wide range of electrical equipment in the plant such as diesel generators, motors, transformers, switchgear, distribution equipment, E-SCADA and control systems.
-Shall perform the maintenance works, in a prudent, reasonable, and efficient manner.
-Shall be fully experienced in preventive, scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
-Shall be fully experienced in substation and switch gear operations and maintenance (11Kv, 3.3Kv and 440v)
-Shall be aware of all kind of electrical testing.
-Shall be aware and knowledge in all kinds of permit to work systems and LOTO procedures.
-Responsible to maintaining calibration records and necessary testing apparatus.
-With the guidance of vendor representative, actions to be taken for major repair and spares replacements.
-Responsible for updating and maintaining all electrical equipment maintenance records of the facility.
-Ensures that all electrical maintenance services are done safely and efficiently in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standards.
-Responsible for following up and timely completion of preventive maintenance.
-Shall coordinate with other discipline supervisors for timely completion of planned works.
