OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
Qualification & Experience:
-Bachelors Degree with minimum 10 years in relevant field.
-Proficient at communicating in the English language both written and verbal
-Computer knowledge: MS Word, Excel.
-Physically strong and Healthy.
-Can work with less supervision and under pressure.
-ACI Grade 1 certification is an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Review and understand the relevant documents i.e., Project specification, Concrete Mix designs etc.
-Well Versed with international standards i.e., ACI, ASTM,AASHTO & BSEN etc.,
-Co-ordinate with Consultant for project daily testing activities for their witness and approvals.
-Perform fresh concrete sampling i.e., Concrete temperature, Slump test, Air content, wet density of concrete and preparation of cube samples as per project requirement.
-Able to verify delivered Ready mix concrete with approved mix designs and record the findings on delivery tickets as required.
-Able to perform the field density tests (FDT) as per the standards and project specs.
-Well aware of material testing including but not limited to: Concrete compressive strength, Durability test for concrete, Core test for Hardened concrete including capping and testing, Water permeability test, Schmidt Hammer test, sampling of soils and aggregates, sand equivalent test for fine aggregates, Particle size analysis for soils and aggregates, Bulk density, Modified Proctor, Atterberg Limits, compressive strength test of concrete cubes, cylinders and cores, Water absorption for aggregates, setting time of cement, Plate Load test and sampling & testing of Asphalt works.
-Maintaining and monitoring the concrete test cubes curing tanks to maintain controlled temperature as per standards.
-Record and maintain all test results on project standard forms.
-Maintain for concrete works including total quantity received, location of cast, number of samples taken with identification and 7 days, 28 days testing.
-Maintain and follow up Calibration record for all equipments.
-Prepare and submit daily and weekly lab reports to management for further action.
-Record and maintain daily weather reports for entire project duration.
-Co-ordinate with construction team for concrete and earth works and perform the required tests.
-Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of work to avoid any type of incidents/accidents.
-Asphaltic hot mix related quality testing, Bitumen extraction, sieve analysis, preparation of MARSHAL MOLDS, Marshal Stability tests.
