-B.Sc or M.Sc. degree in Marine / Civil / Ocean Engineering or equivalent.
-Responsible for liaising with the client to understand the specific requirements of the projects.
-Experience in marine terminal & offshore platforms designs that are tailored to the operational and strategic needs while meeting increasingly stringent environmental and social requirements.
-Provide platforms & terminals planning, layout/ general arrangement, design and development of large vessels, bulk, break-bulk, oil, gas, RO-RO and cruise terminals and platforms that are tailored to the needs in greenfield and brownfield sites
-Minimum 15 years of experience in platforms / terminals / coastal engineering in planning, concept, detailed design and development of marine terminals (including layout, berthing & mooring systems)
-Experience with metocean data analysis and hydrodynamic modelling
-Experience in determining dredging limits and volumes.
-Knowledge of Mooring System Analysis using tools like DNV Mimosa, GMoor and Orcaflex
-Conduct structural calculations and analysis by using SACS design software and design of all types of marine /coastal /offshore structures like platforms, wharves, berths, trestles, jetties, berthing & moorings dolphins and all other related marine structures. Familiarity with ANSYS and ABAQUS is beneficial.
-Knowledge in codes and standards, OCIMF, Classification Rules and Regulatory Rules.
-Experience with Saudi Aramco Standards is beneficial
-Experience with procurement of marine equipment and systems
-Develop written technical reports and presentations
-Responsible for project deliverable completeness, accuracy and quality under supervision
-Has project management and budget control responsibilities
-Design & Engineering experience is required.
-Gulf experience must.
