Objectives of the Role
To have practical knowledge of different radiological techniques involving precise patient positioning and special radiological investigations.
Key Job Responsibilities
-To ensure compliance with MOH safety regulations and procedures when operating radiation equipment to prevent ill-exposure to ionizing radiation.
-To explain the details of the procedure to the patient and obtain patient’s consent prior to diagnostic imaging.
-To correctly position patients for different views of imaging
-To set accurate radiation levels in accordance with established standards
-To inspect, maintain and calibrate the equipment as specified by the manufacturer.
Qualifications and Experience
-Candidate should possess diploma/degree in diagnostic radiography with minimum three years’ experience of work with digital/analog X-ray systems.
-Should have thorough knowledge of different radiological techniques involving precise patient positioning and special radiological investigations.
-Preference will be given to those having MOH license.
-Ability to work long hours, often under pressure.
-Communication skills, including sensitivity and the ability to provide clear explanations & Empathy.
-Ability to spot and solve problems, requiring effective decision-making skills.
-Drive to continue learning throughout career.
-Candidates must be Oman or Oman experience is must.
-Must have Oman MOH approvals.
