Competency Requirements
Qualification:
-Degree in Electrical Engineering
-Degree should be from an NBA approved university or college.
Experience:
Minimum Ten (10) years of electrical maintenance experience in oil & gas facilities.
Other Skills:
-Leadership and managerial skills.
-Troubleshooting capabilities.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in spoken and written English.
-Ability to work well under pressure.
-Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsible For:
Project Description: Alghanim International, Kuwait is looking for a competent and well experienced Maintenance Engineer Electrical for one of its projects awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). This project is currently under execution and it will be commissioned in March 2020. It is an upstream oil, gas and water separation project with main focus on water separation, water treatment and pumping through RTRP network. Alghanim International is executing the project on 4 out of the 10 Gathering Centers located in Burgan Oilfield of South Kuwait. Treated effluent water will be pumped to an existing facility of KOC for disposal/injection of effluent water produced from Gathering Centers.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for managing and leading a team to deliver safe, optimal and environmentally sound electrical maintenance of the facilities.
-Co-ordinate with other discipline Maintenance Engineers, Operations In-charge, Supervisors and Plant Operators for smooth O&M of facilities.
-Responsible for uninterrupted operation (respective to electrical maintenance) of an oil, gas and produced water facility and shall work in day shift as well as "on call" basis whenever required.
-Shall perform the maintenance works in a prudent, reasonable, and efficient manner.
-Provides specialized technical guidance and support in the troubleshooting and failure analysis of a wide range of electrical equipment in the plant such as diesel generators, motors, transformers, switchgear, distribution equipment, E-SCADA and control systems.
-Responsible for electrical maintenance works involving plant electrical and substation maintenance activities.
-Shall prepare the material requirement list related to the electrical maintenance.
-Assess the reliability of critical control packages and make recommendations for enhancement.
-Responsible for updating and maintaining all electrical related maintenance records of the facility.
-Responsible for following the client approved standard operations and maintenance procedures.
-Liaises with manufacturer's representatives as required to discuss and rectify any equipment deficiency during O&M period.
-Responsible for following the standard maintenance procedure (SMP) and safe maintenance practices.
-Ensures that all electrical maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standards.
-Responsible for following up of preventative maintenance schedule.
-Ensures and optimize the equipment reliability.
