Educational Qualification:
Shall be a four-year full time degree in Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Work Experience
-Fifteen years' experience in the field of HSE in any of the core industries like Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, EPC projects or Heavy Chemicals etc.
-Gulf experience & Experience in Korean Companies preferred.
Engineers with the following additional qualifications/certifications will be preferred
-Industrial Safety Diploma
-Professional qualification like CSP / CMIOSH
-Certified Auditors for ISO 9001 / OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001
-Certified training on QRA / HAZOP-HAZAN Studies.
-Prefer the experience of KNPC project as HSE manager
Role & Responsibility
-Implementing and maintaining the Contractor’s HSE Plan within the area of responsibility.
-Ensuring the HSE Management Systems and processes are implemented, maintained and complied with by the Contractor and Subcontractors.
-Reporting on the HSE performance of the Contractor and Subcontractors.
-Guide management in Hazard assessment, management and mitigation.
-Incident, accident prevention and mitigation.
-Ensuring compliance to the Company’s HSE requirements.
-Assisting the Site Manager / Area Manager by proving guidance and advice pertaining in HSE related matters
-Ensuring that activities regarding HSE are carried out in accordance with the Contractor’s HSE Plan and Procedures.
-Overseeing Subcontractors activities as to comply with the law and regulations and other relevant requirements.
-Coordinate with client regarding HSE issues and concerns.
-Conduct routine inspection and audit
