Competency Requirements
Qualification:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum Seven (7) years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Plants.
Other Skills:
-Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
-Report writing skills.

Project Description: Alghanim International, Kuwait is looking for competent and well experienced Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical for one of its projects awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). This project is currently under execution and it will be commissioned in March 2020. It is an upstream oil, gas and water separation project with main focus on water separation, water treatment and pumping through RTRP network. Alghanim International is executing the project on 4 out of the 10 Gathering Centers located in Burgan Oilfield of South Kuwait. Treated effluent water will be pumped to an existing facility of KOC for disposal/injection of effluent water produced from Gathering Centers.
Responsibilities:
-Shall manage and coordinate with the shift mechanical team to complete the planned maintenance related activities.
-Co-ordinate with Maintenance mechanical engineer and shift technicians for smooth O&M of facilities.
-Shall work in day shift as well as "on call" basis whenever required for continuous operation with respect to the mechanical maintenance
-Coordinate with the shift maintenance team for day to day activities and plan to fix the operation defects on priority basis.
-Shall perform the maintenance works, in a prudent, reasonable, and efficient manner.
-Shall familiar in preventive, scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
-Shall familiar with various types of alignment in rotating equipment.
-Shall aware of piping and flange management system.
-Obtain defects from operations for critical equipment before execution of planned maintenance activity.
-Shall aware and knowledge in all kinds of Permit to work systems.
-Responsible to maintain calibration records for necessary special tools and gauges.
-With the guidance of Vendor representative, actions to be taken for major repair and spares replacements.
-Responsible for update and maintain all equipment maintenance records of the facilities
-Ensures that all mechanical maintenance services are done safely and efficiently in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standard.
-Responsible to follow and timely completion of various maintenance schedules (PM schedule, Lubrication schedule, Condition monitoring schedule, etc.,)
-Shall aware of basic operation sequence of facilities (process and utilities).
-Shall coordinate with other discipline supervisors for timely completion of planned work.
