Project Description: Alghanim International, Kuwait is looking for a competent and well experienced Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical for one of its projects awarded by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). This project is currently under execution and it will be commissioned in March 2020. It is an upstream oil, gas and water separation project with the main focus on water separation, water treatment and pumping through RTRP network. Alghanim International is executing the project on 4 out of the 10 gathering centers located in Burgan Oilfield of South Kuwait. Treated effluent water is to be pumped to KOC’s existing facility for disposal/injection of effluent water produced from a total of 10 gathering centers of Burgan Oilfield.
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for managing a team to deliver safe, optimal and environmentally sound maintenance of the facilities.
-Co-ordinate with other discipline Maintenance Engineers, Operations In-charge, Supervisors and Plant operators for smooth O&M of facilities.
-Responsible for uninterrupted operation (respective to Mechanical maintenance) of an oil, gas and produced water facility and shall work in day shift as well as "on call" basis whenever required for continual operation.
-Shall perform the maintenance works, in a prudent, reasonable, and efficient manner.
-Provides guidance and advice on actions to be taken on Mechanical chronic problems, and reviews requirement for major repair and spares replacements.
-Responsible for update and maintain all equipment maintenance records of the facilities
-Shall ensure adequate availability of resources for mechanical maintenance.
-Shall aware and optimize the MTBF (mean time between failure) and MTTR (mean time between repair)
-Responsible for following the client approved standard operations and maintenance procedures.
-Liaises with manufacturer's representatives as required in the commissioning and post commissioning periods, to discuss and rectify any equipment deficiency.
-Responsible for following the standard maintenance procedure (SMP) and safe maintenance practice.
-Ensures that all mechanical maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently in accordance with internationally recognized engineering standard.
-Responsible to follow up of various schedules (PM schedule, Lubrication schedule, Condition monitoring schedule, etc.,)
-Ensure and optimize the equipment reliability.
Ensure that Company specifications and technical practices are up to date.
