Minimum Qualifications
Education
-Draughtsman Diploma in relevant Engineering disciplines.
-Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
-BOCAD software experience.
Training
-Proficient with software such as AutoCAD 2013 or later version Cadmatic Hull and outfitting, Ship Constructor 2017.
-Producing engineering drawings for ships and offshore structures.
-Project Management, analytic skills.
Experience
-Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience in shipyard, offshore / Oil & Gas industry in design office.
-Experience in producing engineering drawings for Ships and Offshore structures.Working experience in major production / construction sites and heavy industrial segments of high value.
-Gulf experience preferred.
Language skills:
-Fluent knowledge of English Language.
-Knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
-Good technical competency and ability to generate reports.
Technical competencies:
-Trained and knowledgeable with relevant Safety and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
-Should be competent in both manual drawing skills as wells as computer based application, such as automated computer assisted drafting (CAD).
-Thorough knowledge in both two dimensional and three dimensional techniques.
-Conceptualization skills to visualize finished drawings and assigned projects.
-Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with Engineer's supervision.
-Knowledge of geometry and architectural terminology is needed.
-Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks within assigned project and to meet required deadlines.
-Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental / project objectives.
