Desirable Education:
-B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Civil with 8 years of related professional experience.
-Experience in Oil & Gas preferred.
-Gulf experience preferred.
Purpose of Role:
The job-holder is responsible to supervise all site-based activities to ensure that contracts are delivered on time, to the required standards within budget, whilst maximising client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
-To develop, implement and review contracts, make sure that best practices are applied on any given project, and to make all the revisions available to all the parties involved in the project.
-To consult with technical staff on various aspects of the project, manage sub-contract labor and suppliers, handle complaints from the client, and deal with any issues that may compromise the project start and completion date, payment of contract, invoicing, non-chargeable expenses, as well as any labor or equipment costs that may exceed the budget for the project.
-Responsible for monitoring subcontractor’s performance, including the management of the deliverables and payment of invoices.
-Keeps fully informed on all subcontracts standards, plans and policies. Prepares and supports subcontract negotiations.
Ensures that the subcontract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations.
-Monitors subcontract performance for conformance to requirements to protect the interest of the company
-To ensure that all the technical activities are in line with the terms agreed upon in the contract and that they meet the business requirements.
-Coordinate with the design team to provide appropriate terms and conditions for specific activities as project specifications are developed.
