A leading Engineering Company involved in Refinery / Oil & Gas / Construction / Maintenance Projects in Kuwait.
Job Description:
OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)

Administrative
-Administers requisitions for maintenance supplies, special tools, plant and manages all the eBEAMS activities for his discipline.
-Directs the work of personnel in his charge.
-Maintains equipment history and performance trending records.
-Prepares and submits daily activity report to the company’s representative.
-Compiles equipment failure report and submits to the company’s representative.
-Must have valid Kuwaiti Driving License.

Operational
-Co-ordinates work functions of the Contractor’s personnel in his area of responsibility including all disciplines.
-Ensures the implementation of the routine/preventive/breakdown/shutdown maintenance and major overhaul programme by the contractor’s personnel to meet the maintenance goals both at site and in the workshop facilities.
-Organises in liaison with the Company’s Supervisor earliest completion of any major breakdowns in the field.
-Ensures personnel’s adherence to safe working.
-Continually reviews updated maintenance requirements/procedures.
-Implements surveillance system and monitors to ensure progress by proper manpower distribution in his area.
-Recommends improvements that can be done on plant and equipment to increase machine availability and maintainability.
-Compiles and presents area daily standby and call-out activity reports.
-Drives the Contractor’s vehicles as required.
-Ensures the Best quality of maintenance works to the satisfaction of company’s representative.
Liaison
-Liaises with the company’s representative on daily basis.
-Liaises with other company maintenance functions and Company contractors concerning equipment and items of common interest within their broad scope of work, and as directed by the Superintendent’s representative.
-Liaises with the Supervisor and Area Engineers within the contract to ensure efficient utilisation of manpower. Compiles and present area daily stand by and call out service report.

SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
-Degree in Instrument Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Minimum one (1) year experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System.
-Six (6) years’ experience out of which 2 years’  in the maintenance of similar facilities, to those specified in the Technical specification with experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic, metering, microprocessor based and hydraulic instruments and controls, of similar facilities to those specified in the Technical Specification.
-Knowledge in disassembling and reassembling equipment according to specifications.
-Shall be experienced in the use of computers and DCS, ESD, F&G, ASM systems.
-Extensive proven experience in vibration analysis, diagnoses, troubleshooting.
-Extensive knowledge of workshop practices and facilities.
-Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English language.
-Shall assist to Company’s Contracts Engineer for all aspects relevant to the prequalification, preparation, issue, receipt, opening and assessment of tenders & award, execution & management and close out of contracts.
-Extensive knowledge in Tender activities like preparation of Tender documents, evaluate the bids, clarifications and recommendation the qualified bidder to award.
-Coordination Kick-off meeting with Contractors.
-Maintain effective and accurate records of contract costs in accordance with respective Contract documents.
-Assist to Company’s Contracts Engineer during completion of Contract close-out activities like issuance of completion certificates; settle the final accounts, etc.
-Ensure confidentiality of contract documents is maintained.
