Qualification / Experience:
-Graduate or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
-Computer Literate
-Age from 30 years to 45 years old
-Can read, write and speak English.
-Knowledgeable on the standard repair practice of industrial motors and alternators.
-Minimum 5 to 8 years experience as workshop supervisor
General Responsibilities:
-Knowledge about A/C & D/C motor and generator rewinding and repair. co-ordinate and prioritize all the works performed in the shop department and ensure that every repair stage meet the standards and satisfy client’s requirement
-To supervise safety operations at site by providing leadership and technical instructions to staff and to coordinate with other sections / departments for the activities for safe and efficient work. --To ensure awareness and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates and contractors.
Specific Responsibilities:
-To schedule and prioritize all works to be performed by the respective sections.
-To monitor, initiate and implement the use of documentation for each respective process in every section.
-To analyze and investigate quality control problems and customer complaints.
-To study and recommend solutions for quality improvements to achieve the quality objectives.
-To develop, improve and maintain the documentation of every job.
-To assist the technicians in analyzing defects and inspection of each components prior to finalize the recommended scope of work.
-To assist technician in decision pertaining to dismantling, assembling and testing of electromechanical equipment.
-To review and ensure that all pertinent data’s and sketch written on the data sheets are correct, legible and understandable with the other personnel.
-To conduct testing, inspection and analysis of raw materials, components and repaired equipment to ensure of its quality, performance and correctness.
-To review and make a summary list of needed parts for each job orders and raise purchase request to stores.
-To review, inspect and check the purchased materials or components for its correctness, quality and suitability.
-To confer to the workshop manager for any discrepancy or nonconforming products found during the repair or testing process.
-To ensure that all finished works meets our standard quality criteria, client’s requirement and all paper works are complete.
-To comply with all company memos and if required distribute appropriately to shop personnel.
-To assist / supervised employees understand and observe company rules and regulations including proper safety procedures.
-To perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by the workshop manager.
-To observe all safety procedures and use of proper protective gears.
