OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)
-Must comply with all requirements for a Welder.
-Must have more than 6 years experience in welding works in running Petrochemical or Power Generating industry.
-Educational qualifications: Certified Welder for the welding processes and materials to weld on. Including 6 months history of weld pass rate.
-Must be qualified (with certifications and/or proof of assessments passed), and be able to carry out welding with different techniques such as GMAW, GTAW, SMAW at all positions flat, vertical or overhead on plates and pipes according to ASME IX, 1G, 2G, 3G and 6G
-Must be able to interpret content and validity of approved welding procedure specification.
-Must be able to produce X-RAY quality welds.
-Familiar in use of oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting techniques.
-Must have experience in applying QA/QC and HSE compliance procedures and working instructions.
-Must have knowledge on selection of welding wires and filler materials applications for various steel alloys.
-Must be able to demonstrate experience in welding unalloyed, low alloyed and high alloyed steels.
-Should be able to deputise for Supervision and act as Leader to less experienced Welders.
-Must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in working with different Heat Treatment and Stress Relieving methods.
-Must be able to judge whether a proper weld preparation is made.
-Must be able to read / interprets mechanical isometric drawings including weld requirement symbols.
-Must have experience in and be able to weld plate material in Column or Vessel walls.
-Must do all the grinding works required for the job.
