Description:
-Authorizes the processing of Qatari retirements, insurance claims, health benefits, and injury compensation
-Processes retirement/pension payments (mandatory, disability, voluntary) and prepares final settlements
-Processes resignations and service terminations
-Recommends policy shortfalls and amendments to the official policy regulatory body
-Acts as the focal point for all issues related to retired employees
-Resolves and assists retired employees in settlement of their dues
-Processes and maintains all status reports and pay changes for Kahramaa personnel to assist with pension calculation.
-Notifies Pension Authority any new appointment, promotion, termination of service or any other staff movement of Qatar employees
-Notifies KM Departments of any employee reaching retirement age or contract expiry, at least four months prior to last working day and communicate with concerned section to initiate service extension process, if the department requires the employee’s service further
-Prepares and sets up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs
-Deals with issues of ex-employees of ex-Ministry and Kahramaa
-Follows up issues related to liabilities of separated employees to Kahramaa
-Attends meetings of Pension Authority and “Dispute Settlement Committee”
-Assists the Head of Personnel Administration in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company
-Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification
-Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Human Resource Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline, preferably in Human Resources More than 6 years of relevant experience in HR and preferable within Retirement.Written and Spoken English is essential, Arabic is preferred
