Role Responsibility:
As a Gate Security Officer, you will be responsible for the access control of all incoming traffic and pedestrian. You shall control, monitor, and direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic at gate and Parking Lots.
Additional responsibilities:
-Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
-contact direct supervisor in cases of emergencies or presence of unauthorized persons
-Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
-Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
-Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate AUM requirements
-Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities. Maintain written logs as required by the post
-Provide assistance to customers, employees, visitors and student in a courteous and professional manner
-Multi computer use and functions of computers, phone systems, alarm systems, turn styles, handheld radios
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
-A high school diploma or equivalent with minimum 6 to 8 years experience.
-Ability to pass any required training or other qualifications for licensing
Skills Required
-Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
-Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
-Effective oral and written communication skills
