OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)

Qualification:
-University degree or diploma in Electrical or HSE field.
-NEBOSH Certified.

Experience:
-Should have 3 to 4 years experience in Service experience in Electrical General fields, Substations or Grid Stations.
-He shall be thoroughly familiar with HSE Guidelines & HSE related local legal standards.

Responsibilities:
-Shall be responsible for all site related HSE activities and shall report to Sr. QHSE Manager at HO
-Shall be proactive in promoting and following both employers and their customer's corporate
HSE policies and practices.
-Preparing and submitting of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Performance Measurement Reports to the Management and to clients.
-Preparing reports for Accident / Incident / Near Miss / First Aid as well as Follow up reports
-Preparing reports as request being from HOD's & Clients.
-Verification of compliance level of Work Permit system (Hot Work, Vessel Entry, Electrical
Isolation etc)
-Ensuring the inspection of tools and equipment's are being done by a competent authority and third party inspection for statutory requirement of equipment.
-Preparing emergency response plan and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan through mock drill at periodic intervals and review its adequacy.
-Ensuring compliance with all relevant Client HSE standards. Organizing HSE meetings with the management & preparing minutes of meeting and tracking it for effective implementation.
-Preparing the project HSE plan with respect to scope of work and providing assistance to the site management to fulfill the HSE plan requirement.
-Carrying out regular HSE inspections and develop action plans and solutions based on findings.
-Monitoring tool box talks are being conducted at work site and provide materials pertaining to
HSE for being discussed in the tool box meeting.
-Participation in HSE meetings of client & Management
-Developing safe system of work for critical lifting activities.
-Ensuring periodic inspection of cranes & lifting accessories including third party certifications
-Ensuring the compliance level of permit to work procedures / LOTO procedures.
-Maintaining & updating the contractual requirements related to Health and Safety aspects.
-Maintain the statistics like Injury Frequency Rate, Severity Rate, and Longest Accident Free
Period etc.
-Developing lire safety management plan for chemical store, office & warehouses.
-Preparing emergency response plan and carrying out mock drill exercises in order to determine the efficiency of the plan.
-Record keeping and timely weekly / monthly HSE reports.
-Administering and overseeing all HSE related issues and ensuring that HSE-MS is operating successfully in the work site.
-To develop, implement and monitor Board Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and
Procedures;
-To coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures in Board facilities.
-Manage the HSE controllers and coordinate their audit schedule.
-Provide HSE improvement proposals stating: the non-conformance, proposed corrective action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation.
-Investigate the root cause HSE complaints put forward by staff members, customers, clients and contractors and report the result to the Sr. QHSE manager.
-Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses.
-Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.
-Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
-Supervises the regular inspection of firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment.
-Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions for theatre operations;
-Ensuring good housekeeping in the site.
