QUALIFICATION:
-B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Fabrication, Erection, Hydrotesting of Piping Systems and also laying & testing of underground piping (GRE) for Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Construction Projects.
-Excellent knowledge of computer, Microsoft Office packages (EXCEL & WORD); AUTOCAD
-Experience relating to oversight of piping construction
-Thorough knowledge of Engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, codes, standards & specifications.
-Have a knowledge in site erection in compliance with HSE practices.
-Gulf experience & Experience in Korean EPC Companies preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Responsible for the piping works of steel pipes and GRE pipes underground network and all piping components.
-Ensure all piping work is done according to the approved documents such as Method of Statements or Work Procedure and ensure that the work is carried out as per company standards and health & Safety policies.
-Assists the subcontractors with coordination of the work.
-Participate in safety walk downs and observations.
-May supervise field survey parties in the layout of lines and grades and other site preparation work.
-Interfaces with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress.
-Provides on-site knowledge of project specific piping construction requirements.
-Checking of field erection documentation, including “AS-BUILT” documentations.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
