Required Maintenance Professional for Shutdown Projects for a Leading Refinery / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Company in Qatar.
Job Description:
OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)

Primary Purpose of Job:
-To supervise the Technician I field work related to servicing of wellheads, replacing valves, re‐orienting the x‐mass tree and construction of burn lines.
-To Initiate purchase orders and “materials reservations” for drilling workshop requirements.
-To assist the Workshop Supervisor to carry out various workshop duties in support of drilling operations.

Principle / Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise the Technician I field work related to servicing of wellheads and X‐mass trees for the wells in the custody of the Drilling Department and eensure that QHSE issues are addressed within relevant activities.
-Investigate and trouble shoot any integrity problem related to the wellhead and X‐ mass tree valves. Arrange for pressure testing the same in accordance to procedures.
-Supervise the replacement of valves, re‐orientation of the X‐mass trees with the assistance of the Technician I. Ensure that the well is secure and down hole plugs are installed by the wire line group prior to carrying out the work.
-Supervise the construction of burn lines that are required for carrying out the “rig‐ less” operations. Ensure that the loading, offloading, transporting and constructing of the burn line is conducted in a safe manner.
-Coordinate with and assist the General Foreman for scheduling the work related to the maintenance of automatic hydraulic pumps, pressure testing of wellhead, x‐mass tree, cleaning and repairing of 3K and 10Kpsi choke manifold equipment, providing routine maintenance of all equipment and tools such as gauges, air compressors, hydraulic units, etc. Also, ensures stock records are properly maintained for a variety of spares and consumable items used for wellhead maintenance and drilling activities.
-Coordinate with the General Foreman for the scheduling of work activities in the workshop and well site, including the overseeing the laying of burn lines, maintenance & greasing of wellheads valves during rig and “rig‐less” operations while the well is in the custody of the department.
-Initiate purchase orders and “Material Reservations” for Drilling W orkshop requirements using SAP and Materials
Call off Orders. Ensure the materials required for drilling operations are in accordance with specified quantities and specification and are loaded from materials stores in a safe manner. Ensure all documentation is properly made and recorded.
-Initiate “Contract Work Orders” for fabrications, threading of tubular crossovers, pup joints, etc. including receiving instruction for the work orders from Workshop Supervisor with specification and drawings as necessary. Ensure the necessary approval is obtained and coordinate with contractor until items are received in Drilling Workshop.
-Coordinate with General Foreman to ensure that Technician I are trained for safe handling of equipment, safety practices and procedures related to the workshop and well site works are followed.
-Coordinate with the General Foreman for maintaining and updating the stock records for a wide variety of drilling tools/equipment in the custody of the workshop i.e. wellheads, tubular, drilling bits, liner hanger, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:
-Completion of secondary (12 years) education, followed by 2 years training with the ability of reading, writing and understanding the well sketches and manuals.
-Good knowledge of Spoken and written English.
-At least 7 years of experience of handling tools and equipment related to work
