Job Description:
OFFICE TIMING: 10.00 AM TO 5.00 PM (MON TO SAT)

Minimum Requirements:
-B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
-10 years in HVAC systems of which at least 5 years in industrial HVAC systems.
-Holding of responsible maintenance position for 5 years.
-Very good theoretical knowledge and practical experience in design, installation and maintenance of sophisticated HVAC equipment, including refrigeration, thermodynamic, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation.
-Fluent written and spoken English.
-Good working knowledge of MS Window and office programs.

Job Purpose: 
To maintain HVAC system and equipment (trouble shooting, repair and refurbishment).  Supervise maintenance team and ensure effective utilization of resources. Responsible for the HVAC maintenance jobs within his domain to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently in adherence with the company HSE policy and procedures in line with relevant international standards.

Principal Accountabilities:
-Lead and manage the HVAC team on all Upper Zakum locations.
-Ensure that company HSE regulations are strictly complied with, maintaining a high standard of safety   ensuring safe job analysis, tool box talks are carried out.
-Supervise the activities of assigned personnel to ensure the work is carried out correctly and up to standards. Supervise and participate for the preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and repair work to ensure availability and reliability of HVAC systems.
-Ensure adequate HVAC spares stock availability in compliance with specifications by systematic review and communicate with business support unit for stock level and obsolescence issues and take-up necessary action for re-engineering as necessary.  
-Ensure that clear work program are established for all subordinates and supervise accordingly for their achievement.
-Monitor and manage the work performance of the HVAC contractor and the proper implementation of the contractual obligation at site.
-Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. Identify staff development and training needs and ensure that training is obtained and appraise their performance on an annual basis.  
-Liaise with ZADCO Head quarter job officer OSMS-PU to replace or upgrade HVAC system. 
-Monitor the performance of subordinates for appropriate performance appraisal.
-Guide subordinates in trouble shooting and analysis of problems along with identifying timely tools and material requirements to minimize downtime. Repetitive faults to be analyzed to prevent reoccurrence.
-Make recommendations concerning stock creation, changes in levels or material specification depending on equipment performance. 
-Prepare the annual budget with optimum budget estimate and monitor expenditure on regular basis. 
-Maintain records of all maintenance activities carried out on HVAC equipment and update the status for easy access to any internal and external auditors.
-Makes recommendations to his Team Leader concerning resolving equipment / maintenance issues.
-Liaise with relevant personnel other trades for work permits etc… and work execution.
-Participate and review contract scope of work preparation relevant to HVAC, supervise site implementation.
-Regular monitoring of air conditioning to meet the standard air quality and carry out the necessary to maintain the air quality (air analysis, cleaning and sanitizing HVAC air duct etc.).
-Utilization of CMMS system like Maximo for recording of daily activities spares transaction, creating purchase requisitions, failure reporting etc.
-Coaching/guidance of UAE nationals ensuring timely integration by regular assessment
